A visit to the Altrad Sparrows training centre provided Bridge of Don Academy pupils with skills development opportunities and sector awareness.
Senior pupils from Bridge of Don Academy visited Altrad Sparrow's OPITO-certified training centre. As part of their tour, they were allowed to use the crane simulator and also received a talk on the different career paths within Altrad Sparrows.
The pupils gained an understanding of the equipment, roles and skills that are used within the energy sector.
The opportunity to participate in crane simulator training helped pupils to improve their problem-solving skills, hand-eye coordination and confidence.
