DYW North East hosts regular regional employer information events throughout the year, to help you tap into the free help that we offer. This page also includes forthcoming school activities that require support from industry volunteers.
Taking place at Ardoe House Hotel on Thursday 18 June 2026, the event will bring together employers, educators, young people and partners from across the region to learn, collaborate and celebrate.

Mock interviews provide young people with a valuable opportunity to practise their interview skills, build confidence, and receive constructive feedback from employers. Your support helps prepare pupils for future employment, apprenticeships, further education, and training opportunities. We will provide all interview questions and feedback forms in advance, so all you or your colleagues need to do is come along, engage with the pupils, and provide supportive, constructive feedback on their interview performance.
