The EY Foundation is an independent charity that works with employers and partners to provide opportunities for young people from low-income backgrounds. They work closely with DYW groups across Scotland. In the North-east, they have collaborated with DYW and local employers to deliver full-day employability sessions for pupils across various secondary schools, as well as supporting workshops and class talks.

Jade Gordon, Employer School Coordinator, collected the award on behalf of DYW North East. She said: “The DYW North East team feels privileged to have received the Education Partner award. We place great value on our partnership with the EY Foundation, who share our vision of making opportunities available to all young people. This award is also testament to the ongoing support of our local employers, without whom these events would not be possible.”
