#DYWKEYWORKERS campaign

Are you a key worker and want to inspire the next generation?

As we all continue to navigate these uncertain times, DYW North East recognise the importance of celebrating and showcasing the essential jobs that key workers across Scotland are doing.

With this in mind, DYW groups from across the network will be taking part in the #DYWKeyWorkers campaign next week, kicking off on June 1. The campaign aims to inspire the future generation of talent by showcasing the diverse variety of roles applicable to these key sectors, making young people more aware of the types of jobs involved and what skills/qualities are required for each of these roles.

How to get involved:

1. Schools are invited to take part in one of the three activities below and share the creations on social using the #DYWKeyWorkers and tagging @DYWNorthEast.

Activity 1: Design your own key worker (with template)

Activity 2: Design your own key worker (without template)

Activity 3: Create your own key worker poem

2.Employees can take part by sending us an uplifting story, video or message about their job working in one of the region's key sectors.
