DYW Pledge | Employer Information Event (Banchory)

DYW North East helps employers across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire to offer opportunities for young people, so that they understand and develop the skills they need to succeed in the world of work. We encourage employers to demonstrate their commitment through the DYW Pledge. During this afternoon session, you'll learn how the DYW Pledge can provide you with recognition for your existing activities - and how it can help you identify new ways of getting involved.

Who is the event for?

The event is open to representatives from organisations of all sizes and across all sectors. Those who are new to DYW are encouraged to come along, as are those who are already working with us, but who wish to learn more about the DYW Pledge.

What can I expect?

• An introduction to Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) North East and our role in connecting employers with young people across the region.
• An overview of the DYW Pledge and the four broad areas where employers can offer support.
• Examples of how local organisations are using the DYW Pledge to support their early careers activities.
• The opportunity to ask questions and meet the DYW North East team.

Where will the event take place?

The event will take place within Banchory Business Centre. The room is fully accessible; with lift access. Please contact events@dyw.org.uk in advance if you have any queries regarding accessibility. Free parking is available on-site; this includes an overflow car park on the other side of Burnett House, plus on-street availability nearby.

Are refreshments available?

Tea, coffee, water and biscuits will be provided.
