Skills Scotland Aberdeen 2019 is Aberdeen's largest skills, career and apprenticeship event taking place on November 11 - 12 at P&J Live.

Skills Scotland makes it possible for thousands of young people to visualise their future career path with truly interactive activities. Now in its 11th year, this event is a key feature in the school calendar giving young people aged 14-24 the opportunity to meet and network with over 40 national and local employers from a range of industries, universities, colleges and training providers.

This two day event provides visitors with the opportunity to discover careers through interactive, inspirational activities and hands-on demonstrations, and helps young people visually bridge the gap between what they enjoy doing and what they could potentially do as a career.

Skills Scotland is suitable for young people of all abilities and ambitions, whether they are looking for a job or apprenticeship, further or higher education, work placements or advice and guidance.

Why exhibit?

Exhibiting at a Skills Scotland event offers your organisation the opportunity to gain access to thousands of interested, relevant and engaged young people, their families, teachers, tutors and influencers. If you are looking for the opportunity to provoke interest in your company or industry, our visitors are at a critical age (ranging from years S4 to S6) when many are making major life choices. They will be accompanied by their teachers who will be looking to understand how to link careers to the curriculum. Parents and carers are also invited to attend our dedicated evening openings and will be keen to speak to you about the opportunities available to their children.

Benefits of exhibiting

• Face-to-face contact with future talent

• Attract quality candidates for vacancies and courses now and in the future

• Widen your potential talent pool and promote your apprenticeship opportunities

• Showcase your organisation, courses, vacancies and career sector

• Inform and influence teachers and parents

• Carry out market research

• Launch new schemes - courses, school leaver programmes, apprenticeships, work and graduate placements

• Bring your organisation to life and show off your talented workforce

• A chance to get involved in other features of the show such as the Apprenticeship Theatre, Get Skilled Stands or The Staffroom.
